Thank you for your interest in joining the
Northampton County Schools team!
Every member of our team is dedicated to ensuring student success. We work hard to make every member of our team feel like an individual and valued. We are committed to excellence and character, always seeking to strive, achieve and excel in all we do. We realize that in order for our students to excel, we must have excellent teachers, principals, central office employees, bus drivers, paraprofessionals, cafeteria workers and custodians.
If you are committed to excellence in education, and are driven to support the success of every student through strong performance, we welcome you to apply.
Northampton County Schools has launched a new online application system that provides an innovative way to streamline the hiring process. Applicants will now experience an enhanced, user-friendly system when applying for positions. A cover letter and resume are still required. You will now need to upload these items to your online portfolio instead of sending them by email.
If you do not see a posting for the job(s) that you are interested in, please consider applying to the Generic Posting in the category for which you are interested – Licensed, Classified, Substitute and Bus Driver. By doing this you make your application visible to our district. Please continue to check the Northampton County Schools Job Board for future employment opportunities.
Please note…
- All Licensed positions require a NC State Board of Education Certification
- All Instructional Assistants, Substitute Teachers, and Tutors require a two-year degree or 48 hours of college credit.
